Summary: A new kind of ski app.
Ski Buddy is not your typical "ski tracker" app that gives your ski statistics at the end of the day, after the fact. Instead, Ski Buddy gives your ski statistics in real time as you ski by speaking over your earphones. Your speed, altitude, distance traveled, and time of day are spoken at user selected intervals. In addition, a unique "ski mode" gives statistics for each run as it is completed. When you get off the lift at the top and start skiing down, you will hear "Starting new run". Ski Buddy will record your top speed, average speed, distance, vertical, and duration as you ski down the run. When you get on the lift at the bottom and start back up, a run report will automatically be spoken. When you get off the lift at the top again and start back down, the process will repeat. Run statistics are saved as is the track for the run. At any time, you can review the statistics for your runs as well as view the track of the run on a map.
Ski Buddy is truly a new kind of ski app that gives your ski statistics in real time as you ski.

Plus Features:
- Top speed, average speed, distance, vertical, and duration on each run are automatically spoken
- Ski Stats page for viewing totals and individual run stats
- Runs can be viewed on Maps which shows ski lifts and runs for many resorts. Markers show the locations of the run start, top speed, and finish. Pan and zoom are supported as are normal, satellite, hybrid, and terrain views.
- Screen colors are customizable
- Both male and female voices are available
- Option to suppress repeating of speed and altitude values
- Interfaces with the built-in music player so that you can conveniently listen to your music in the background while Ski Buddy Plus is running
- Runs in background mode and with the screen locked

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
